Scheme objective

Every year the State Government felicitates awards to the Best Disabled Employees / Employers / Placement Agency for outstanding work done in various fields.

Eligibility criteria

• Apply by filling details in the prescribed form and submitting it to the concerned concern District Social Welfare Office, Zillah Parishad & Assistant Commissioner Social Welfare Department, Mumbai Urban & Mumbai Suburban
• Applicant should have a minimum 40% disability
• Applicant should be Domicile of Maharashtra

Benefits Provides

1. Category 1 : Best Employees (Visually Handicapped, Hearing Impaired, Orthopedically Handicapped, Mentally Retarded) No of Awards : 12 Composition of Awards : Rs. 10,000/- in cash, a citation and a certificate
2. Category 2 : Best Employer (Govt. / Public / Private Sector) No of Awards : 2 Composition of Awards : Rs. 25,000/- in cash, Memento, citation and a certificate
